*The album, "The Hush" was recorded almost entirely at Sharleen's home studio in Glasgow and was produced by Texas co-songwriter Johnny McEhlone.
*Two songs were also worked on in Manchester alongside much fancied production duo Rae & Christian.
*Top fashion photographer Luis Sanchis took the album sleeve photos of Sharleen on Miami Beach. During the shoot Sharleen was stung by an enormous jellyfish.
*"The Hush" is the follow up to the acclaimed "White on Blonde" which has sold almost two million copies in the UK (five times platinum) and over four million copies worl-wide.
*Texas have worldwide career record sales of over ten million.
*"White on Blonde" scored five consecutive top ten hits in the UK - "Say What You Want", "Halo", "Black Eyed Boy", "Put Your Arms Around Me" and "Insane/Say What You Want (All Day Every Day)".
*One of Sharleen and Johnny's proudest moments' came at last year's prestigious Ivor Novello Awards where they picked ip the 'Outstanding Body of Work' award for their songwriting.

*Texas took their name from their favourite film at the time, Wim Wenders, "Paris, Texas".
*At the time Sharleen was one of the UK's most talented ypung hairstylists and was flown all over the world to teach.
*Although courted by the world's leading designers including Calvin Klein, Gucci, Cerutti and Donna Karan, Sharleen refuses to sign any clothing or modelling contracts.
*One of Johnny McEhlone's most treatured possessions is his original Wurlitzer keyboard as previously owned by Marvin Gaye. The keyboard features on "The Hush".
*Sharleen's favourite food is sushi and her hobbies include snowboarding and climbing.
*Texas are all from Glasgow, where they met after Johnny (previously in Altered Images and Hipsway) was introduced to an 18 year old Sharleen. The first song they wrote was called "I Don't Want A Lover" which went on to become a huge global hit.
